Aluminium sculptures are popular with artists as the material is lightweight, strong, flexible, and corrosion-resistant. It can be molded, extruded, riveted, welded, and painted. Aluminium is also relatively affordable and can be used to create large-scale outdoor sculptures.

The process of casting aluminium involves:
- Creating a mold of the desired shape
- Melting aluminum in an oven until it’s liquid
- Pouring the liquid aluminum into the mold
- Allowing the aluminum to solidify and cool in the mold
- Removing the aluminum casting from the mold once it’s completely cooled
