The artist carves out the giraffe’s distinctive patches, leaving open hollows across the body. Light streams through these cut-outs and creates shifting patterns on the surface around it. From a distance, the sculpture appears as a striking silhouette. Up close, the voids add rhythm and movement, encouraging the viewer to trace the form with their eyes.
Danu simplifies the giraffe into strong lines and clear shapes. The long neck stretches confidently upward. The slender legs root the piece to the ground. The overall form remains elegant yet modern, balancing strength with openness.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
