Bird by Peter Walker, Corden Steel, 227 cm high, 155 cm wide, and 88 cm deep, Unique
Bird by Peter Walker is a large, unique garden sculpture. The abstract form depicts a bird with its head lifted upward, creating a sense of motion and alertness.
The sculpture is dimensional and bold, with clean, geometric lines that convey strength and presence. The corten steel material naturally develops a rich, rust-colored patina over time, adding texture and warmth while blending with outdoor surroundings. Its abstract style allows viewers to interpret the form freely, emphasizing the bird’s grace and power without literal detail.
Ideal for a garden or open outdoor space, the piece engages from multiple angles, drawing the eye upward and around its dynamic silhouette. Its scale and material make it a striking focal point, offering both artistic impact and a sense of harmony with the environment. Peter Walker’s “Bird” embodies the energy and essence of its subject through abstraction, resulting in a sculpture that is simultaneously strong, elegant, and visually compelling.
