Themis by Ferri Farahmandi is a unique ceramic sculpture measuring 47 cm high, 18 cm wide, and 24 cm deep. The figure depicts a woman in a long white dress, her arms folded firmly across her chest. Rather than extending outward, her arms merge seamlessly into her torso, reinforcing a sense of quiet containment. Her feet overlap slightly, adding a subtle grounding to her otherwise upright stance.

The body leans back gently, supported by a stand that curves into a slight L-shape. This structural element is not just functional but sculptural, cradling the form and framing it as part of the composition.

The ceramic surface carries a marbled finish, blending polished white tones with darker striations. These variations in colour create depth and movement across the dress, as if light is shifting over it. Very faint lighter lines run along her body, resembling delicate bindings. Though understated, these marks hint at restraint and memory, softening the clarity of her posture with quiet tension.
