The piece captures two giant hares in a dramatic fight, frozen mid-motion. Each hare balances on the tips of its back paws, leaning forward with chest out as they lunge at one another. One strikes the other in the chest while its opponent prepares to counterattack, creating a tense and dynamic moment.
Kinsella stylises the hares while keeping them instantly recognisable. Their bodies form in rounded, clumped shapes, giving weight and presence to each figure. Deep lines and subtle divots between the clumps indicate the sculpting process, adding texture and rhythm across their forms. The overall bronze maintains a cool grey finish, which contrasts with the dynamic energy of the poses.
The composition emphasizes balance, tension, and interaction. The hares’ upward reach and outstretched limbs create strong diagonal lines, drawing the eye across the sculpture and highlighting the combat’s intensity. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
