This piece bursts with movement and flair, immediately drawing the viewer into its rhythmic momentum. The bronze figure, finished in a glossy black, doesn’t merely pose, instead, she charges forward with a flamboyant stride, pushing a hoop with unmistakable purpose. Her elongated limbs and exaggerated posture amplify the sense of speed, and each curve of her body works in harmony with the circular form of the hoop. As a result, the sculpture radiates kinetic energy from every angle.
Although abstracted, the figure retains enough figurative detail to evoke a dancer’s grace and an athlete’s determination. She leans into the run, and her lifted leg arcs behind her with a lightness that contrasts with the solid metal base beneath her. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
