Rain Maker by Rufaro Ngoma is a unique Shona sculpture carved from springstone. Standing 130 cm high, 35 cm wide, and 35 cm deep, this tall, slender piece portrays a graceful bird stretching its neck upward, as if calling to the sky.
The form is sleek and minimal. The bird’s elongated body and narrow proportions create a sense of elegance and vertical movement. Its beak points skyward, suggesting hope, longing, or perhaps a ritual gesture, true to the sculpture’s title. Smooth, flowing lines define the body, while subtle curves in the neck and wings hint at motion and vitality.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
