ID Raver by Mark Goodchild, Upcycled Industrial Waste and Heavy Machinery, Unique, 3m high
Monumental Outdoor Garden or Public Display Sculpture
ID Raver by Mark Goodchild is a commanding and thought-provoking sculpture standing at an impressive 3 metres high. Crafted entirely from upcycled industrial waste and components from heavy machinery, this unique piece is a bold fusion of raw materials and imaginative design.
The sculpture assembled from discarded mechanical parts, each piece telling a story of past function now transformed into art.
ID Raver carries an industrial, post-apocalyptic aesthetic—gritty, expressive, and unapologetically bold. Despite its rugged construction, the sculpture has a human-like essence, perhaps representing a figure caught mid-dance, mid-expression, or mid-revolt. It invites interpretation and challenges viewers to consider themes of identity, consumerism, and rebirth through transformation.
Unique and unforgettable, this sculpture stands as both an artistic marvel and an environmental statement, giving new life to the discarded while embodying the raw spirit of individuality and industrial rebellion.
Mark Goodchild started welding at the young age of just 15 for a blacksmith making wrought iron lights.
