Florence is an elegant figurative sculpture by Richard Jack, carved from white Portland limestone. Standing at 160 centimetres tall, this unique work embodies the artist’s ongoing dialogue between abstraction and the human form.
The piece depicts a torso subtly emerging from the stone, its smooth contours contrasting with the natural texture of the untouched limestone. This duality between the refined and the raw and the revealed and the concealed, creates a powerful sense of transformation. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
