The owl consists of various scraps of metal. Gears form its eyes, springs and screws create its feet, and curved poles shape its wings. These elements give the bird a stylized, almost kinetic quality. Each component interacts visually, building texture and movement while emphasizing the owl’s presence.
Beneath the owl, a trap sits slightly to the side. Springs, coils, and cogs form its structure, integrating seamlessly with the bird above. Together, the owl and trap appear as one large contraption, with the owl overseeing the mechanical scene. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
