Pierre Diamantopoulo brings humour, rhythm, and colour into play with 3 Flamingo’s, a bold powder-coated steel sculpture measuring 200 cm high, 120 cm wide, and 100 cm deep. Best known for his energetic and theatrical approach to form, Diamantopoulo here combines scale, colour, and movement to transform the flamingo’s natural elegance into a vibrant pop art statement.
The group consists of three flamingos, each positioned differently and coated in a unique colour. First, the pink flamingo looks ahead with upright confidence, setting the tone of composure. Meanwhile, the blue flamingo twists backwards, creating a lively counter-movement that breaks symmetry and adds playfulness. Finally, the orange flamingo lowers its neck dramatically toward the ground, introducing a downward sweep that balances the verticality of the other two. Together, these variations in pose generate a dynamic rhythm, so the viewer’s eye moves fluidly across the entire composition.
Moreover, Diamantopoulo amplifies this energy through his bold use of colour. The powder coated surfaces in pink, orange, and blue not only electrify the forms but also situate the work firmly within the visual language of pop art. As a result, the sculpture operates on two levels, it reads as an abstract arrangement of colour and shape, while also presenting a playful yet dignified portrayal of flamingos.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
