See No Evil by Eddie Masaya is a unique springstone sculpture measuring 98 cm high by 55 cm wide by 46 cm deep. The work takes on an abstract form that loosely suggests portraiture, with the mass shaped into a head-like presence. The figure remains simplified, yet its proportions and contours clearly reference the human face.
The surface is intentionally restrained. All facial features are absent, yet gentle curves and subtle planes still define a face-like structure. These minimal contours guide the eye and allow the form to read as a portrait without detail. The front of the sculpture is smoothed and polished, revealing layered grey and brown tones within the stone. Light enhances these natural variations, giving the surface depth and warmth.
In contrast, the upper section remains largely untouched. The stone opens outward into a rough, fanned shape, with raw brown textures left visible. This untreated area introduces a strong material contrast and emphasizes the natural character of the springstone. The transition between polished and raw surfaces feels deliberate and controlled.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
