This piece by John Bates is a unique sculpture combining metal and wood, it features a sprawling, spindly mass of metal mounted on a solid wooden base. The form rises upward with fluid, irregular extensions, creating an organic shape that seems to flow and stretch in multiple directions.
Near the base, sections of the metal carry blue coloration, contrasting with the darker tones above. This subtle shift in colour draws the eye upward, enhancing the impression of energy and growth. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
