This piece by Prosper Katanda is a unique Shona sculpture carved from springstone, it presents three abstract forms that rise together from a single point at the base. Each form curves and widens as it ascends, flowing gently alongside the others until they fan out at the top. The arrangement suggests the movement of water, with the three elements lifting and leaning like waves caught mid-motion.
Springstone gives the sculpture both strength and elegance. Its smooth, polished surfaces contrast with subtle natural textures, highlighting the hand-carved quality of the stone. Light glides across the curves, emphasizing the rhythmic flow of each form and drawing attention to the way they interact. From different angles, the composition shifts, offering new perspectives on balance and movement.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
