Rain (Water Feature) by Lyudmila Konstantinouvna Strel Chenko transforms bronze into a moment of pure childhood joy. The sculpture, standing 220 cm high and spreading 150 cm wide, immediately draws the eye with its lively composition of two young boys dancing freely in the rain. Rather than simply portraying a scene, the artist invites viewers to feel the boys’ exhilaration as they leap, splash, and twist without a single care holding them back.
From the first glance, the figures appear full of motion. Their bodies lean forward, their arms fly outward, and their expressions open with laughter. Because Chenko shapes every contour with intention, the bronze seems to breathe and move. Moreover, the integrated water feature enhances this sense of life. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
