Ocean Dance by Peter Chidzonga, Springstone, Unique, 39cm high by 48cm wide by 22cm deep, Animals and Birds, Fish, Nature, Water Creatures, Whale, Sculpture. The piece depicts a whale’s tail rising from the water, curving gracefully as it breaches. The upward sweep of the tail conveys motion and power, capturing the elegance of the whale in mid-movement.

The form flows naturally from the base, with a smooth, continuous curve that guides the eye along the tail’s rise. Its simplified, abstracted shape emphasizes gesture and energy rather than intricate detail. The tail appears both strong and fluid, balancing solidity with a sense of lift.

Chidzonga smooths and polishes the surface, allowing the deep black of the springstone to shine. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
