This piece is a unique Springstone sculpture standing 115 cm high, 32 cm wide, and 15 cm deep. The work presents a man and woman standing closely together, their bodies gently merging where they touch. Both figures face the same direction, creating a shared sense of purpose and harmony. Their poses feel natural and warm: the man rests one hand on the woman’s hip while his other hand holds hers. She mirrors this closeness by placing her free hand on his hip, the same hand he supports, while her other hand lifts a section of her flowing dress.
Their matching hats and calm, closed eyes give them a unified presence. They appear serene, almost meditative, as if moving through a moment of quiet understanding. Their long garments flow down to the base, anchoring the sculpture with steady vertical lines. The woman’s dress stands out with its textured, feather like pattern, especially where she lifts it, adding a sense of gentle motion.
Murenza smooths most of the surfaces and polishes the skin and finer details. These areas shine with the deep black tones of Springstone. In contrast, the clothing remains rugged and matte, showing a light grey colour that enriches the overall visual rhythm. This balance between polished and rough surfaces emphasizes the bond between the figures while highlighting their individuality.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
