From the depths of the ocean, Kalypso rises, her tail arching gracefully above the water. But who is Kalypso? She is not a fish. She is a mystical creature, an ancient siren who has travelled countless oceans and seas.
Kalypso’s Tail by Claudia La Bianca stands over 2 meters high. Its size and beauty showcase the artist’s imagination and skill. Crafted from mild steel and painted in vibrant colours, it glistens in the sunlight. As a result, the tail seems alive, moving with the ebb and flow of the sea.
The colours create a mesmerizing effect. Aquamarine, sapphire, and emerald blend seamlessly, capturing the ocean’s shifting tones. In addition, splashes of magenta, coral, and gold highlight the scales, adding depth and richness to the sculpture.

Claudia La Bianca is a multimedia artist. She sculpts, paints murals, makes films, and designs fashion. Born in Sicily, she now lives in Miami when not traveling with her art. Through her work, she transforms imagination into tangible forms that enchant and inspire.
Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
