The female figure rises from the base in a flowing dress that wraps around her body, creating sweeping folds and a sense of continuous motion. Rather than appearing static, the fabric seems to move around the figure as she reaches towards the birds. Consequently, her pose feels animated and expressive, drawing the eye naturally upwards through the sculpture.
One arm extends high above her, while the other reaches out towards the side. At the end of each gesture, a white goose appears suspended in flight, its wings spread wide as it turns towards the woman. Moreover, the opposing positions of the birds expand the composition beyond the central figure, creating a lively sense of movement and interaction.
The contrasting finishes further strengthen the sculpture’s visual impact. The girl features a deeper green bronze colouring, while the two geese appear in white, immediately separating the birds from the figure. As a result, their outstretched wings become striking focal points while maintaining a clear connection to the woman’s raised arms.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
