Skyship by Stan Jankowski is a unique sculpture crafted from steel, copper, and brass. Measuring 65 cm high, 90 cm wide, and 35 cm deep, the piece captures the spirit of imagination and flight through its striking design.
The sculpture presents a copper and brass vessel, shaped as a fantastical skyship, mounted on a tall steel stand. The ship itself feels both mechanical and dreamlike. Brass elements accent the structure, lending warmth and elegance against the reddish copper body. Together, the materials create a sense of history, as though the ship belongs to another world or time.
The vessel floats above its stand, giving the impression of hovering mid-air. Its form suggests a blend of nautical tradition and aerial invention, recalling both ancient ships and futuristic crafts. Curving lines and metallic textures emphasize movement, as if the ship is caught in the act of sailing through open skies.
The tall steel base contrasts the glowing tones of copper and brass, grounding the work while allowing the ship to rise. This height enhances the illusion of flight, making the vessel appear to glide freely above its support.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
