This piece features a rounded, helmet-like form that rests atop a tall slate plinth. Small disk shaped details adorn the side of the steel, adding texture and visual interest. The sculpture is carefully smoothed, with select areas polished to catch the light. These polished sections reveal the natural greys of the steel, creating a subtle contrast against the darker, patinated surfaces.
The combination of steel and slate gives the piece a balanced and grounded presence. The rounded form rises smoothly from the rigid slate base, emphasizing the tension between organic curves and geometric stability. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
