This piece is a unique wooden sculpture, It is carved from a single curving tree trunk, and its bark remains intact, giving the piece a natural, spiritual presence. The organic bends of the trunk guide the eye upward, making the sculpture feel alive, as if the wood continues to grow.

On one side of the trunk, five faces emerge from the surface. They share the same peaceful expression, with closed eyes and a soft, knowing smile. These expressions feel meditative, as though the figures are deep in reflection. The artist smooths only the features themselves, leaving the surrounding wood rough, cracked, and textured. Bark separates the faces like natural borders, yet each face still feels connected to the others. Instead of being divided figures, they seem like one spirit expressed in five forms.

The grooves, splits, and knots of the wood are left untouched within the faces as well, letting nature’s marks become part of their character. This choice makes the carved heads appear to grow from the tree rather than being sculpted into it.
