This piece by Simon Probyn is a contemporary Corten steel sculpture. The work features two tall triangular forms that interact in a striking display of balance and tension. One triangle stands upright, anchored firmly to the ground, while the other inverts and rests delicately on its point, rising next to its counterpart.
Between the two shapes, a series of evenly spaced metal rows connect them, creating a visual rhythm that unites the opposing forms. These rows widen gradually to match the shifting dimensions of each triangle, giving the sculpture a sense of flow and harmony. The structured alignment contrasts beautifully with the natural irregularities of the weathered steel surface, where rich rust tones deepen over time.
The piece feels both architectural and organic. The triangles appear to reach toward one another, their connection through the rows evoking themes of unity, balance, and interdependence. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
