Cantilever Wave by Guy Stevens is a unique abstract sculpture carved from Ancaster Weatherbed stone. Measuring 82 cm high, 145 cm wide, and 145 cm deep, it commands space with both scale and presence.
The sculpture forms a perfect circle, yet its edges are far from smooth. Instead, waves ripple continuously around the circumference, creating an undulating outline. These flowing contours not only add visual rhythm but also serve a structural purpose. Remarkably, the piece balances upright, supported entirely by these very edges.
The Ancaster Weatherbed stone brings a subtle, earthy tone, its natural grain enhancing the interplay between form and material. Light catches the curves differently from every angle, shifting between highlights and soft shadows. This dynamic effect mirrors the sculpture’s ocean-inspired movement.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
