This piece by Willard Bopoto is a striking, unique sculpture carved from rich Zimbabwean Shona Avocado stone. Measuring 65 cm high by 33 cm wide and 28 cm deep, this abstract work features gracefully curving forms. The interweaving forms flow into one another, evoking connection, harmony, and intimacy.
Bopoto’s skillful carving transforms the dense, dark-green avocado stone into smooth, polished surfaces that catch the light. This emphasises the gentle undulations and rounded edges of the piece. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
