7 Piece Stack by Tim Threlfall is a unique abstract stone sculpture standing 170 cm high, 36 cm wide, and 26 cm deep. Composed of seven distinct shapes stacked vertically, the work explores balance, rhythm, and the interplay of form and space.
Each shape varies slightly in size, curve, and angle. Some are smooth and rounded, while others feature sharper edges or flatter surfaces. As the eye moves upward, the variation in form creates a visual rhythm, drawing attention to both the individuality of each element and the harmony of the whole. The stack appears stable yet dynamic, as if frozen mid-motion.
Threlfall uses the natural qualities of stone, its weight, texture, and subtle colour shifts, to give each shape presence. The surfaces are carefully finished, some polished to a soft sheen, others left more matte or rough. This contrast enhances the sculpture’s tactile quality and emphasizes the transition from one shape to the next.
Despite its abstract nature, the piece feels grounded and intentional. The vertical orientation and shifting forms evoke growth, progress, or even a meditative sense of layering thought or memory.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
