This unique Shona Springstone sculpture by Godfrey Kurari, titled Wiseman, presents a striking, abstract male face resting gently on a flat stand. The face is delicately sculpted, with clear, defined features. The nose and lips providing structure and presence, while the eyes are represented as curved lines that extend upward. These lines taper into elegant, elongated forms, guiding the viewer’s gaze and adding a sense of height and flow to the sculpture.
Kurari’s careful polishing of the Springstone allows its natural black tones to shine through, creating a harmonious play of light and shadow. Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
