The Wall by Guy Buseyne. Bronze and Corten Steel, Signed and numbered from an edition of 49, 157 cm (H) × 150 cm (W) × 75 cm (D)
The Wall is a striking large-scale sculpture by Belgian artist Guy Buseyne. It shows a bronze figure mid-stride, emerging from a wall of Corten steel. The sculpture captures a powerful moment of transition, walking through a barrier, symbolizing determination, resistance, and change.
Buseyne combines refined craftsmanship with expressive forms. The faceless figure avoids specific identity, encouraging viewers to project their own emotions and experiences onto the piece. This universality creates a strong personal connection and invites reflection on the obstacles we face in life.
Known for exploring the human condition, Buseyne often depicts people confronting adversity, both natural and human-made. His works speak to resilience and the quiet courage needed to move forward.
With its bold composition and evocative message, The Wall commands attention in any setting. It’s a sculptural statement on perseverance and the human spirit.
