Visionary is a unique Shona sculpture by Taylor Nkomo, masterfully carved from a combination of cobalt, opal, and springstone. Depicting an abstract human face, the work exemplifies the expressive and innovative spirit of contemporary Zimbabwean stone sculpture. The piece remaining rooted in the rich traditions of the Shona movement.
The sculpture’s stylised features are distilled into elegant, flowing forms that emphasise contemplation, wisdom, and inner perception. Through the careful juxtaposition of contrasting stones, Nkomo creates a striking interplay of colour, texture, and tone. Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
