!@? by Wilfred Pritchard is a striking stainless steel sculpture standing 200 cm high. This unique edition of five presents a trio of typography symbols—an exclamation mark, an at symbol, and a question mark—clustered together in a bold composition.
The characters gleam with polished surfaces, reflecting light and their surroundings. Each symbol appears weightless, though they are anchored firmly by slender poles at their bases. These supports are minimal, almost disappearing, which enhances the illusion that the symbols float above the ground.
The arrangement of the three symbols creates a lively rhythm. The exclamation mark conveys energy and urgency, the at symbol suggests connectivity and modernity, and the question mark introduces curiosity and inquiry. Together, they form a dynamic dialogue in space, inviting viewers to interpret meaning and interplay.
From different angles, the sculpture shifts in appearance. Light bounces differently across the curves of the question mark or the circular form of the at symbol, creating movement without motion. Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
