Driftwood Bench is a unique wooden furniture sculpture crafted entirely from natural pieces of white driftwood. The work transforms found organic material into a functional yet sculptural form, blending art and design with striking originality.
The seat is carefully assembled from driftwood that has been smoothed and shaped for comfort, yet the surface retains the natural character of each piece. Small holes, curves, and irregularities remain visible, reminding viewers of the wood’s journey through water and time. These preserved features lend authenticity and texture, balancing refinement with raw natural beauty.
The back of the bench rises gracefully and curves outward. The pieces forming integrated sides that enclose the sitter in a gentle embrace. This flowing form enhances both comfort and visual rhythm, as the eye follows the organic sweep of the structure. The interplay between polished areas and untouched surfaces demonstrates a sensitive approach to material, celebrating the wood’s individuality while ensuring functionality.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
