Unicorn Head, Bronze on Iron base, Edition of 5, 150cm high by 120cm wide by 57cm deep, Animal, Bird, Horse, Sculpture
Unicorn Head is a limited edition bronze sculpture on an iron base. Measuring 150 cm high, 120 cm wide, and 57 cm deep, the piece depicts a figurative unicorn head with a gracefully curved neck with a crown wraps around the neck. This recently cast model from an edition of 5 was taken from a Coadestone original which formed half of a Royal Coat of Arms armorial
The bronze surface emphasizes the sculptural detail of the unicorn’s features. Its elongated snout, flowing mane, and spiralled horn are rendered with precision. The polished finish catches light, highlighting contours and depth. The iron base grounds the piece, providing contrast to the luminous bronze and stabilizing the large-scale work.
The curved neck creates a sense of motion and elegance, while the crown adds symbolic significance. The sculpture balances realism with stylized heraldic character, reflecting both the nobility and mythical quality of the unicorn.
Despite its scale, the composition remains approachable. The interplay of light across the horn, mane, and crown gives the figure presence and authority. Each angle offers a new perspective, allowing viewers to appreciate the craftsmanship and historical reference.
Unicorn Head transforms a heraldic emblem into a striking sculptural form. Its combination of elegance, detail, and symbolic resonance makes it a commanding centrepiece. Making it suitable for collection or display, celebrating both artistry and tradition.
