The Family by Isaac Kahn, Bronze, 1/2 AP, 210 cm high (excluding base)
Pre order only – 12 week lead time.
Isaac Kahn’s The Family is a powerful and elegant bronze sculpture. It beautifully celebrates connection, unity, and the human form. At 210 cm tall (excluding the base), this monumental piece commands space and attention. It presents a stylized interpretation of familial bonds, shaped through Kahn’s signature modernist style.
From the first glance, the sculpture draws the viewer in. The figures are abstracted yet emotionally expressive. They intertwine to form a unified shape that suggests intimacy, protection, and strength. As you walk around the piece, these connections become more visible. Each angle reveals new layers of emotional nuance.
Kahn uses volume and negative space with great care. These spaces allow the sculpture to breathe. They also guide the eye and invite reflection on the unseen ties between people. Despite their simplicity, the forms feel warm and cohesive. The message of unity is timeless and universally felt.
The bronze adds weight and permanence. Its rich patina deepens the texture and highlights the forms. It also adds emotional depth. Limited to just three pieces, The Family shows Kahn’s technical mastery and his blend of classical and modern influences.
With its striking scale and emotional power, this sculpture is a perfect centrepiece. It suits public spaces, peaceful gardens, or private collections that value the enduring beauty of human connection.
