This piece by Sean Crampton is a bronze sculpture measuring 21 cm high, 35 cm wide, and 12 cm deep. The piece depicts a female figure chasing a line of geese, capturing a playful, dynamic moment in a compact composition.
The sculpture is abstracted and slightly flattened, with simplified forms that maintain clear, distinctive outlines. The female figure leans forward as she runs, arms outstretched, her hair and dress flowing behind her. In front, the geese move in a line, some with wings extended and heads pushed forward, suggesting motion and urgency as they scatter.
All elements rest on a textured, lumpy base, giving a sense of uneven ground beneath their movement. The surface features sculpted lumps and bumps that add tactile interest and highlight the stylized nature of the piece. Despite the abstraction, the action and energy of the scene remain immediately readable.
Crampton finishes the sculpture with a dark grey-green patina. Unifying the figure, geese, and base while giving depth and richness to the forms. The combination of simplified shapes, flowing lines, and textured surfaces creates a lively, rhythmic composition that balances abstraction with storytelling.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
