Ducks in Bullrushes by Antique is a coloured bronze sculpture. Standing 89 cm high, 123 cm wide, and 105 cm deep. The piece depicts a lively scene of two ducks interacting with their natural environment. One duck prances upward, supported by a clump of bulrushes, while the other remains closer to the ground, wings spread, appearing alert and curious.
The sculpture captures the playful energy of the pair, balancing motion and observation. The detailed bronze work emphasizes the ducks’ feathers, posture, and movement, giving each figure character and vitality. The bulrushes beneath them provide structure while enhancing the sense of natural habitat.
Both ducks are mounted on a deep turquoise stand, evoking the look of water. A red ridge encircles the base near the bottom, adding a striking contrast and framing the scene. The base also incorporates a small turtle and frog, each on their own miniature stand, adding further life and narrative to the composition.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
