Sean Crampton, 1918 – 1999
He was an artist of enormous achievement and inspiration. Sean produced outstanding and original artwork that is much sought-after and admired.
Sean Crampton first studied sculpture during the 1930’s in Birmingham’s Central College of Art(opens in new tab). He became a Professeur De Sculpture at the Anglo-French art centre in St John’s Wood, London in the 1940’s.
Sean had seventeen one-man shows in London’s West End. For more than 40 years he was a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptor(opens in new tab)s. He was President for 5 years.
He enjoyed working with religious themes throughout his career and his major works can be found in many churches and civic centres.
Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
