​“Dame Kind” is a well known sculpture by British artist Seán Crampton renowned for his evocative bronze works. This piece is crafted from fabricated bronze with a Verdigris (green) patina, 

The Verdigris patina enhances the sculpture’s aesthetic appeal. The colour also adds depth and character.  Therefore emphasizing the intricate details of Crampton’s design.  Sean Crampton, 1918 – 1999 

He was an artist of enormous achievement and inspiration. Sean produced outstanding and original artwork that is much sought-after and admired.

Sean Crampton first studied sculpture during the 1930’s in Birmingham’s Central College of Art. He became a Professeur De Sculpture at the Anglo-French art centre in St John’s Wood, London in the 1940’s.

Sean had seventeen one-man shows in London’s West End. For more than 40 years he was a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. He was President for 5 years.

He enjoyed working with religious themes throughout his career and his major works can be found in many churches and civic centres.
