This Teak Wood Horse is a remarkable life-size sculpture, hand-carved and assembled from reclaimed teak tree roots. Measuring an impressive 198 cm in height, 245 cm in width, and 52 cm in depth, the sculpture captures both the strength and elegance of the horse, while also celebrating the natural beauty of the material itself.
The artist has carefully arranged the interwoven teak roots to create a powerful yet fluid form. Each curve and twist of the wood contributes to the anatomy of the horse, from the arch of its neck to the muscular sweep of its flanks. The natural gaps between the roots add a sense of movement and energy.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
