Vision by Sean Crampton is a compelling welded bronze figurative sculpture that explores conversation, human connection and the expressive power of gesture. Measuring 64 cm high, 44 cm wide and 21 cm deep, this unique work brings together three abstracted figures engaged in what appears to be an animated exchange.
Crampton arranges the group around one seated figure, while the remaining two figures stand nearby. Each person gestures towards the others, creating an immediate sense of interaction and shared thought. Moreover, the varied poses establish a visual dialogue between the three characters, encouraging the viewer to imagine the conversation unfolding between them.
Rather than pursuing anatomical realism, Crampton exaggerates and fragments the human form. Open spaces appear throughout the figures where sections of welded bronze meet, allowing light to pass through the composition. As a result, solid metal and empty space work together, giving this substantial material an unexpected feeling of openness and movement. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
