Thrust is a bold abstract steel sculpture by Miles Halpin. This unique work takes the shape of a large circle that feels strong and balanced. The outer ring is polished stainless steel. Its shiny silver surface catches and reflects the light.
In contrast, the centre is mild steel with a rusted, natural look. This rough texture adds warmth and an earthy feel. The smooth, bright edge and the weathered core create a striking tension. The polished ring suggests precision and energy. The rusted centre grounds the piece and keeps it connected to nature. Together, they show force pushing outward, as if energy radiates from the centre through the silver edge, true to the name Thrust.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
