This piece depicts an abstract flame, rising in a single, elegant curve that suggests upward movement and energy. Three pointed carvings along one side create a feathery effect, adding rhythm and texture while breaking up the smooth line of the flame.
The sculpture leans toward flat and angular forms rather than rounded, giving it a modern, sculptural edge. Its surfaces are carefully smoothed but not fully polished, allowing the natural character of the springstone to remain visible. The deep black tone dominates the piece, while lighter speckles highlight the stone’s natural variations, adding depth and subtle visual interest.
The upward sweep of the form conveys a sense of aspiration and vitality. The interplay of angles and points creates dynamic shadows and catches the light in shifting ways, emphasizing the sculpture’s verticality and motion. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
