South East Asian Teak Sculpture of Naturalistic form VIII, Wood, Unique, 270cm high by 80cm wide by 60cm deep, Natural, Tribal sculpture
This piece is a tall, striking sculpture made from pale teak wood. It stands 270 cm high, 80 cm wide, and 60 cm deep. The form is abstract, rising with a flowing, organic shape that suggests a tree trunk or a twisting vine.
The surface of the wood is smooth and finely carved. Soft, curving patterns run along its body, adding movement and detail. These designs bloom into floral shapes and wave-like lines, with ach curve feels alive, as though the sculpture grew into place. The carved patterns are tinted with pastel pinks, yellows, and greens. These colours appear gentle and almost glowing against the light-toned wood.
The sculpture is made for indoor display. Natural light enhances the soft colours, while artificial light picks out the texture. The piece changes with the day, sometimes warm and calm, other times bright and full of life. Up close, the carved details invite touch and close attention. From a distance, the whole shape flows like a frozen gesture.
Naturalistic Form VIII is both a statement and a meditation and on nature, transformation, and the quiet power of organic design.
Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
