Portal by Michael Haggiag is a bold and imaginative garden sculpture crafted from a mix of printed vinyl, stainless steel, corten steel and mild steel. This unique piece stands 200cm high and 233cm wide and creates an impressive presence in any outdoor space.
The sculpture features a large, curved form, designed to evoke the shape and feeling of a portal. A portal is a symbolic threshold between spaces, moments, or dimensions. The surface is adorned with a photographic print, applied to the vinyl, giving the piece both visual depth and narrative intrigue.
The contrasting materials, sleek stainless steel, weathered corten, and solid mild steel, bring together elements of the industrial and the organic. Over time, the corten develops a rich patina that enhances its natural texture, while the photographic image invites closer inspection and interpretation.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
