Modulus TTS by Ade Grant rises to an impressive 400 cm, with a width and depth of 100 cm. The sculpture draws inspiration from the pathways between the nodes of a crystal lattice. Grant was fascinated by the idea of creating a piece that, like a crystal, could evolve if more elements were added. This concept of growth and connectivity informs both the form and the experience of the sculpture.
From every angle, the piece conveys an organic rhythm. Its flowing lines and interconnected shapes evoke the natural geometry of marine life. Indeed, Grant explicitly drew on sea creatures for the colour palette, blending hues that feel alive and fluid. These colours reinforce the sense of movement while highlighting the complexity of the structure. Moreover, the interplay of form and colour creates a tension between the familiar and the alien, making the sculpture feel both approachable and otherworldly.
The structure is intentionally playful. Its branching, lattice like forms invite the viewer to explore, move around, and discover new perspectives. Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
This piece will require dismantling and rebuilding upon arrival, and may take a few days to complete. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
