Large Carved Bench, Hardwood, Unique, 112cm high, 295cm wide, 115cm deep
This monumental garden bench is carved from a single piece of natural hardwood, showcasing the raw, organic beauty of the wood. At 290cm wide, it’s a functional work of art, large enough to seat multiple people while making a striking visual statement in any outdoor space.
The bench retains its gnarly textures, knots, and irregular contours, highlighting the character and age of the tree it came from. Its sweeping curves and rugged surfaces feel both ancient and inviting, creating a sense of timelessness.
Perfect for large gardens, parks, or landscape settings, this bench combines sculpture and utility. Its impressive scale and natural form offer a place to rest, reflect, and connect with the outdoors, whether nestled under a tree, overlooking a view, or used as a sculptural centrepiece.
As a functional sculpture, it not only provides comfort but also sparks conversation and contemplation. Its presence transforms a space, encouraging a slower pace and deeper appreciation of the surroundings. Whether enjoyed alone in quiet solitude or shared with others, this remarkable bench is an enduring tribute to the strength and beauty of the natural world.
