House of Fortune (Male) by Miguel Angel Martin del Campo Serrano is a unique bronze sculpture. It stands 260cm high, 60cm wide, and 40cm deep. At first glance, the figure resembles a tall bunny-man. However, on closer inspection, the body is actually a stylised house. Windows and rooflines blend into the torso, creating an abstract fusion of home and figure.
Moreover, the head features long ears, evoking a rabbit’s alert stance. These ears add a playful and surreal twist. The sculptor adds even more fantasy with a pair of delicate fairy wings. These wings, though also cast in bronze, appear light and ethereal. They contrast sharply with the heavier, grounded structure of the house-body.
As a result, the sculpture balances opposites, weight and lift, structure and whimsy. The house may represent protection or personal history, while the wings suggest freedom or escape. Meanwhile, the rabbit form introduces vulnerability or instinct.
The textures across the bronze are detailed and deliberate. Each element invites a closer look. For example, the house façade includes subtle architectural features. The wings, in contrast, curve outward in a soft rhythm.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
