Munyaradzi Jeche

Born in Zimbabwe in 1976, Munyaradzi Jeche spent his childhood in Chivhu, a rural area south of Harare.
He began his training by working as an apprentice to the renowned sculptor Nicholas Mukomberanwa, before setting out on his own in 1998. He now lives and works in the city of Chitungwiza and, as a well-respected carver, has had exhibitions across the world including in South Africa, Germany, United States of America, and Canada.
