Born and raised in Bonnyrigg, UK.
Lives and works in the Lothians. From a very young age he had a huge love of wood, he began carving straight from school a career that has spanned over 30 years. He enjoys using native hardwood and the challenge of carving a sculpture without taking anything away from the woods natural beauty. Michaels work has been in many exhibitions mainly in Scotland but also in England. He has completed commissions for clients in Britain and beyond.
