Lata migrated to the UK in the late 1990’s. She not only has a masters in Fine Art in India but also the UK. Her work can be found in private and public collections around the world. Her work is a refection of her own life and journey of migrating. Lata is a keen activist in establishing an artist community in South Essex, she has her own studio in Acme in Purfleet, which is the home to the Royal Opera House Production Workshop.
