EARLY LIFE:
John Ravera trained at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, where he developed the foundations of his artistic practice.
LIVES:
He was based in England.
CAREER:
Ravera worked both as a teacher and a sculptor, becoming particularly well known for his figurative work. He ran his own foundry, which allowed him to experiment extensively with different production methods. He also developed techniques in resin and fibreglass, which he went on to teach to others, contributing to the wider sculptural community.
MATERIALS:
A wide range of materials, including bronze, resin, and fibreglass.
