CAREER:
Having worked extensively in the film industry, Humphreys fuses his strengths in fine art with his special effects, and in doing so creates sculptures that literally boggle the mind. His concerns with distorted dimensions presents a fresh and interesting way of exploring portrait sculpture, making the viewer work hard to correct the information they are presented with. Projects include Dr. Who, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, max headroom, Alexander, Rob Roy and The French lieutenants Women He also made the model alien for the film alien autopsy in 1996.
